Select topics in a map from Search Results view

This feature locates the topics returned by your search in the map that's open in the DITA Map view.

The map must be open in the DITA Map view.

Once you have searched the repository and found the files that meet your search criteria, you can use the Select in Map feature to locate them in the map that's open in the DITA Map view. This feature is particularly useful with large and complex maps.

To select topics in a map:

In the Search Results view, right-click the topic(s) and choose Select in Map.
The topics are highlighted in the map, and the appropriate map sub-trees expand to show their location. The number selected will tell you how many of the topics you selected were actually located within the current map.
