Relationship table examples
This section contains some concrete examples of how to use relationship tables.
Reltable example one: CRT row structure
Once you’ve inserted a reltable into a map, you’ll start adding rows. DITA CMS offers several types of pre-configured rows.
Reltable example one: CRT row output
This topic shows the Changing your Oil topic as it would appear in HTML Help.
Reltable example two: links are between cells – not within cells
When you add topics to a relationship table cell, those topics link to the topics in the other cells – not to each other.
Reltable example three: linking topics of the same type
If you want links between two topics of the same type – two concepts, for example – you can put them into a family type of topic group.
Reltable example four: linking direction
You can override the default linking direction.
Reltable example five: creating sequences
You can use a reltable to dynamically create a set of numbered steps from the required topic titles.
