Configure the Web Author application parameters in the DITA CMS

The next step is to configure the Web Author Application parameters in the DITA CMS.

The following table describes the parameters that can be configured in the web.author.config.xml file:

Table 1. Parameters in the web.author.config.xml file
Key Value
default.login. domain Default domain when users log in to the Web Author. This ensures that users only need to enter a username and password when logging in to the Web Author. If you do not use domains for user logins, leave this field empty.
license.servlet. url If you are using the oXygen License Servlet, enter the URL of the License Servlet; this is the URL that the Web Author Client will use to find the License Servlet.
Note: Do not update this field if you are using site licenses.
license.servlet. username and license.servlet. password If you are using the oXygen License Servlet, enter the username and password that you set for the License Servlet (for example, license and license).
Note: Do not update these fields if you are using site licenses.
web.author.application .cfg Name of the Web Author roles configuration file. Do not modify this parameter.
cms.webauthor. frameworks.path and cms.webauthor.options. path Paths to the frameworks.zip and options.zip files in the Content Store. These files must be stored in the Content Store.
default.image.language. code Specifies the default language code when images are added using the Web Author. The default language is also used when searching for images unless a topic is currently open for editing, in which case the topic language is used.
Note: The language code is case-sensitive and must match a language code defined in the languages.xml configuration file.
