DITA CMS User Guide for oXygen
/ Workspace configuration
The procedures in this section tell you how to configure the Eclipse environment.
Set file search maximum
This procedures configures the maximum number of files that display in the Search Results view when you perform a search.
Associate editors with documents
This procedure associates the file extensions of various document types with your preferred editors.
Configure key mapping
Use this procedure to associate key sequences with actions in the DITA Perspective.
Customize menu visibility
Use this procedure to display or hide menus and their options in the current perspective.
Customize toolbar visibility
Use this procedure to display or hide toolbar options in the current perspective.
Enable Eclipse command groups
Use this procedure to enable the commands that appear on menus and toolbars.
Clear files from your hard drive
This procedure removes unnecessary files from your local hard drive.
Clear information from the cache
This feature removes server information from your local cache, so that you can have access to the most recent information.
Synchronize image thumbnails
This procedure copies existing image thumbnails onto your local hard drive.
Enable the Read-only Editor
This procedure causes unlocked topics to open in the Read-only Editor.
Specify compare tool
This procedure lets you use an alternate tool for the compare function.
Configure import and export directories
This procedure lets you specify default directories for frequently performed import/export operations.
Add the root-catalog.xml catalog to the oXygen editor
For the DITA CMS to locate the DTDs for the DITA objects and elements in your documentation, you must add the
file to the oXygen editor.
Configure column display in any DITA view
You can specify the columns you want to see in each view and then place them in the order that you prefer.
Restore warning messages
This option lets you select the warning messages that you want to re-activate.
Bring a process out of background
Use this procedure if you've selected Always Run in Background for a DITA CMS process and you'd like to restore it to the foreground.
